What Data We Collect:

While using the Travel With Character® LLC website, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable infromation may include, but is not limited to, your name and email address ("Personal Information").

Please do not use our website to submit extremely sensitive information. If you do, it will be subject to this privacy policy.

For the purposes of website development and study of website traffic, our website logs your IP address when you access the site. Data collected may include operating system type, browser type, referring site, pages you viewed, and the dates/times when you visited. Links clicked while visiting the website might also be logged.

We may log information using Cookies to provide you with a more personalized experience on our website. Some cookies may stay on your browser until you manually delete them.

How Data is Used:

We collect this information for the purpose of identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, improving our services, providing user support and tracking our advertising efforts. We may use your Personal information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you.

We DO NOT sell customer or mailing lists to outside parties, including marketers.

How to Unsubscribe:

Travel With Character® LLC uses the 3rd party provider MailChimp to send our Newsetter corespondence. You may opt-out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provdied in any email we send. There is a quick and easy "unsubscribe" link in the footer of our newsletter.

When you unsubscribe from a newsletter managed by Mailchimp, your details remain on the list of past recipients. This is a measure to prevent circumstances such as a member of staff accidentally manually re-adding you. Mailchimp states: "As a compliance measure, subscribers who unsubscribe themselves can't be deleted from your list." However, provided you are still a subscriber at the point when you contact us, on request your details can be permanently removed from the list. Please email us if you would like this to happen.

We have the right to remove anyone from our site or marketing campaigns at any time for any reason.

Our Policy on "Do Not Track" Signals under the California Online Protection Act (CalOPPA)

We do not support Do Not Track ("DNT"). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

According to the guidelins of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) valid from 25 May 2018, Travel With Character® LLC hereby informs you that you have consented to your email addresses being sent based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and § 7 Para. 2(3) or Para. 3 of the Unfair Competition Act (UC). The email service provider MailChimp is used, the statistical surveys and analyses are performed and the registration procedure is recofded based on our legitimate interests ursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our interests focus on the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves our business interests and meets user expectations.

We also wish to point out that you can object to future processing of your personal data at all times in accordance with the legal regulations pursuant to Art. 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Minors:

Our services to no address anyone under the age of 18 ("minors.") We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with personal data, please contact us via email so that we can remove the minor from our servers.

Changes to the Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
